20. All I is, is awesome.
Tomorrow

I will have two exams but that’s not what I want to talk about. I will be going to a nursing home located in Newark for photography. I guess I like this project it’s definitely putting me out of my comfort zone, it’s really challenging. I haven’t even done an interview yet but the process made me feel more accomplished, a little older. Thanks to my friend Norlan we went nursing home hunting. (idk LOL) In our first, we were greeted but their boss wasn’t there. So we went to another and we were warmly invited in; the admin is so friendly. We had to sell ourselves and our project, I feel I did a good job. We talked to the admin for a while then her Public Relations Admin to see if it was allowed. I felt so overwhelmed and nervous but they were friendly, all the while I was thinking what did I get myself into? It reminded me of “The Office” so that took off a little of the pressure. Let me tell you what the project is; I have to find a person who has immigrated to the U.S from another country, interview them, and ask for 3 objects that allows them to reminisce about their journey and past. It’s a very interesting topic to do, it got me thinking and made me realize how small I was in comparison to the world and how everyone has their own story, to think there is over 6 billion unique stories only waiting to be told. I can’t wait to interview my person, “subject” just seem so impersonal, and listen to what their story is. I like how I’m going into the world and getting out of my shell.
